The Piva River Canyon is one of the most impressive natural cuts in Montenegro, whose vertical limestone cliffs are up to a thousand meters high. Before the construction of a large hydroelectric power plant and the creation of Piva Lake, the Piva River flowed freely through this canyon, carving rocks and creating a landscape of exceptional wild beauty.
