From September 29 to October 4, 2026, Podgorica will host the second edition of the Podgorica 2026 International Literature Festival, which will be held on Independence Square, under the motto "The main book is in the capital city".
During the six festival days, more than 40 programs will be organized that will connect literature with other art forms The fair segment of the festival will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with free admission.
The public can expect literary promotions, talks with writers, concerts, film screenings, theater performances, outdoor exhibitions and educational workshops. The detailed program of the festival, as well as the list of participants and performers, will be published later.
The organizers invite citizens to visit the festival and be part of the program in which the book becomes a space for meeting, talking and socializing.
