Plav is preparing for its biggest and most recognizable summer event. From July 12 to August 4, 2026, the traditional "26 Blueberry Days" will be held in this beautiful town at the foot of Prokleti. This multi-week cultural, sports and tourist festival brings an extremely rich program filled with tradition, concerts of the biggest regional stars, sports excitement and promotion of the natural beauty of the Plav region. The official opening is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, and the program begins with an active vacation - the MTB Plav bicycle race, while the evening is reserved for a big solo concert by Peđa Jovanović on the Town Square.
Musical spectacles on the City Square and the lake The musical program of this year's Blueberry Days will attract audiences from all over the region. For adventurers and nature lovers The event uses the potential of the Prokletije National Park in the right way. All lovers of hiking, photography and adrenaline can enjoy the following activities: Mountaineering trips to Bajrak (July 18) and Putacama Hrid (July 25). Traditional blueberry picking in Prokletije National Park near Hrid Lake (July 25), with a presentation of local products. Adrenaline programs: "Alem Šarkinović" memorial rafting, photo-safari and jeep rally on Čakor and Mokra, as well as motocross closing. Culture, gastronomy and tradition The central gastronomic event will be held on July 29, when the famous Plavska sofra will be set up in the City Square, as part of the Agriculture, Dairy Products and Handicrafts Fair. The cultural segment brings numerous exhibitions of paintings by local and international authors, theater performances, film screenings under the open sky and large-scale folklore shows that preserve the traditions of this region.
