The traditional event "Bokeška noć", which carries the status of an intangible cultural asset of national importance, will be held on Sunday, August 22, in Kotor. The event celebrates the maritime heritage, creativity and Mediterranean spirit of Boka Kotorska.
The central part of the program begins with a parade of imaginatively decorated and illuminated boats in the Kotor water area, led by the Kotor City Music and the sailboats of the "Lahor" Sailing Club. The boats will be presented to the audience and the expert jury in three rounds, competing for the prize pool. After the announcement of the winners and the big musical fireworks on the sea, the celebration continues on the squares of the Old Town with the performances of numerous musical performers and bands.
Entrance is free for all visitors, and the organizers are the "Nikola Đurković" Cultural Center, the Tourist Organization of Kotor and the Municipality of Kotor.
