The Cijevna River is one of the most recognizable rivers of the Montenegrin karst area and an important natural symbol of the Podgorica and Tuzi area. It originates in Albania, in the area of Prokletije, where it originates from mountain streams and springs, and then continues its course towards Montenegro. After entering the territory of Montenegro, it flows through the area of Tuzi and the southeastern part of Podgorica, before flowing into Morača near Podgorica. Its catchment area thus connects the mountainous area of Albania with the central part of Montenegro.
The most impressive part of the Cijevna stream is in its canyon, which the water shaped through the limestone rocks.
