Tuzi

Tuzi is located in an area that has been associated with agriculture, trade and life along the fertile plain of Zeta for centuries. The proximity of Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans and a national park, gives this area a special significance. Vineyards, orchards and arable land represent an important part of the local landscape and the daily life of the inhabitants. Over the years, Tuzi has grown into an important administrative and economic center of this part of Montenegro. In the vicinity of the city there are numerous sites that testify to the rich history and tradition of the area. Unlike large urban areas, local customs and community connection are still strongly felt here.
