On July 18, 2026, the Berane tourist organization will organize the "Meet Bjelasica" hiking trip, an event that brings together a large number of nature lovers and active vacationers every year. The exact time of departure will be announced later.
The hiking trip "Meet Bjelasica" has become a recognizable part of the summer tourist and sports-recreational offer in Beran. The event is organized in cooperation with mountaineering clubs, and gives participants the opportunity to get to know the natural beauty of the Bjelasica mountain, its peaks, katuns and glacial lakes.
In previous years, the hike gathered dozens, and often more than a hundred mountaineers from different parts of Montenegro and the region. As part of the organized tours, the participants visited some of of the most attractive localities of Bjelasica, among which are Ursulovacko and Šiško jezero, as well as numerous mountain peaks and viewpoints.
In the following period, the organizers will publish details about the route, meeting place and departure time, and all interested citizens will be informed in a timely manner about the registration method and conditions of participation. Bjelasica is considered one of the most beautiful mountains in Montenegro, known for its passable hiking trails, wealth of forests and mountain lakes.
