Mojkovac is positioning itself as an unavoidable summer destination again this year, thanks to the rich two-month program of the traditional event "Summer near Tara". During July and August, the city will become the epicenter of sports, cultural, entertainment and family events suitable for all generations.
The event brings a variety of contents that celebrate the tradition, sportsmanship and natural beauty of this region, and the program starts already this weekend. Rich July program: From tradition to musical spectacles The summer season opens with a cultural and historical event, followed by sports tournaments and large outdoor concerts: Dani Nemanjića (July 11-15): A multi-day program dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage and history of this region. Mojkovac FEST (July 25-31): The musical framework of the event that brings big concerts of popular regional stars - Adija Šoša and Milica Todorović. Summer sports school "Let's get our kids moving" (July 26 - August 5): Program aimed at the youngest, with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and sports. Dan na Tara (July 26): An event dedicated to the promotion of Fly Fishing on one of the most beautiful European rivers. Memorial tournament "Slaviša - Šljako Bajčeta" (July 31 - August 2): Traditional 3x3 basketball tournament that brings together the best teams. August in the sign of poetry, food and entertainment for the youngest After the dynamic July, the August repertoire continues in the same rhythm, with a special focus on tradition, local products and children's programs: International poetry festival "Slova Slovenska" (August 7-8): Gathering of poets and lovers of the written word from the country and the region. Zvrk FEST (August 8-9): A two-day fun and creative program created especially for the youngest visitors. XV Honey and Healthy Food Days (August 10): Jubilee exhibition and fair of the best local beekeeping and agricultural products. 3x3 basket Montenegro "Mojkovac open" (August 15-16): Another top basketball tournament within the official Montenegrin 3x3 caravan. Games without borders Podbišće 2026 (August 22): Fun and competitive program and sports games for children. Days of Radovan Bećirović Trebješki (end of August): Traditional evenings of fiddlers and epic poetry dedicated to the famous bard. The tourist organization Mojkovac invites locals, guests from other cities and numerous tourists to spend the summer near Tara, enjoying the clean mountain air, nature and a rich entertainment program.
