Jada Film Fest 2026 brings five days of debut films

The 11th edition of the International Debut Film Festival "Jada Film Fest" brings a competitive selection of short debut films, which will be held in Podgorica from August 31 to September 6.

Program and schedule of screenings:

Monday, August 31, at 8 p.m. - Svetozara Markovića Street:

  • The film "Special Day / Divan dan" (Montenegro, 2025, 23'43"), directed by Katarina Bulajić, will be shown.

Tuesday, September 1, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. - Montenegrin Cinematheque:

  • "Pankaja / Pankadža" - Anooya Swamy;
  • "Nobody Knows the World" – Roddy Dexter.

Wednesday, September 2, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. - Montenegrin Cinematheque:

  • "Warden" – Sabah Mohammadi;
  • "Magma / Magma" - Kim Felt;
  • "Nobody Said Anything" - Tamara Todorović;
  • "Welcome Home" - Filip Jembrich Jandras;
  • "Field Queens" - Áine Ryan.

Thursday, September 3, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. - Montenegrin Cinematheque:

  • "Hi Mom, It's Me, Lou Lou / Hi Mom, It's Me, Lou Lou!" - Atakan Yilmaz;
  • "Ali / Ali" - Adnan Al Rajeev;
  • "Loynes / Loynes" - Dorian Jespers;
  • "These Voices Are Real" - Baran Nikrah;
  • "Slowly, Gently" – Raymart Avellaneda;
  • "Rage / Anger" - Fran Moreno Blanco and Santi Pujolamat;
  • "Little Soldier" – Roxan Karami.

Friday, September 4, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. - Montenegrin Cinematheque:

  • "I Will Fix It" - Mikhail Zhogolev;
  • "Happy People" – Balázs Budavári;
  • "Like a Hook into an Eye" - Reza Pordel;
  • "Over the Threshold" – Tara Gajović.

The organizers invite fans of the seventh art to accompany the competition program and get acquainted with the debut works of young authors from Montenegro and the world.
