The Association of Serbs in Beran and Andrijevica organizes the cultural event "Day of Serbian Culture in Andrijevica 2026 - Roots under Komovi", which will be held on Thursday, September 24, in the Small Hall of the Ju Center for Culture and Sports "Mihailo Lalić". The program starts at 6 pm.
The audience can expect an evening dedicated to tradition, literature, music and folk creativity.
Program:
- Welcome speech by Petar Labudović, president of the Assembly of the Association of Serbs in Beran and Andrijevica
- Welcome speech by Vesko Raketić, President of the Andrijevica Municipal Assembly
- Opening of the exhibition of caricatures "Draw as you write", by Goran Šćekić
- Opening of the exhibition - journalist and writer Darko Jovović
- Music and poetry evening
- Participating: Darko Jovović, poet and professor Petar Vešović, reciter Julija Pajković, members of the "Đurđevi stupovi" folk art association from Beran and folk fiddler Marko Novović
- Moderator: Snezana Milić
The event is held under the auspices of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Culture, and admission is free. The organizers invite the citizens of Andrijevica, Beran and surrounding towns to come to the Culture Center on September 24 and be part of an evening dedicated to culture, tradition and folk creativity.
