Komovi is a mountain with a strong character, recognizable by its large grassy slopes, sharp peaks and open views. This is where hiking has a special energy — it's wild enough to be challenging, yet affordable enough to attract different types of hikers. Komovi are especially beautiful in the summer, when the katuns are alive, the meadows are full of colors, and the paths lead to the peaks that dominate the entire area.
The most common starting points for hiking in Komovi are Andrijevica, Kolašin, Mateševo, Trešnjevik and Veruša, while tours can also be connected to the direction from Podgorica. Mountaineers most often come for the ascent to Kom Vasojevićki, Kom Kučki and Kom Ljevoriječki, but also for easier tours through katuns, passes and pastures.
Komovi are the right choice for guests who want a combination of open space, mountain peace and a strong sense of height. There is no overly pronounced tourist crowd here — the mountain retains its seriousness, but also its warmth through the encounter with the local area and the Katun lifestyle.
