Tivat

Tivat has long been tied to the sea through shipbuilding, seafaring and military tradition. In recent years, the city has undergone a significant transformation, but it has not lost its connection with the space in which it is located. Its coastline today gathers sailboats, yachts in the modern marina of Porto Montenegro, walkers and locals in the same place. Unlike cities with pronounced old centers, Tivat builds its identity through open space, landscaped waterfronts and everyday life by the sea. The proximity of the island, smaller settlements and other parts of the bay makes it a good starting point for exploring Boka. The city is developed enough to provide modern amenities, but also quiet enough to retain the feel of a seaside resort. It is this balance that represents its greatest value.
