For guests who want to hike outside the most famous mountain centers, the central part of Montenegro offers extremely interesting trails. The Mrtvica canyon stands out, which is one of the most beautiful hiking experiences in the interior of the country. The trail leads through rocks, greenery, a river, natural passages and parts that seem hidden and almost unreal.
This area is most often associated with Kolasin, Moraca, Međurječje and Podgorica, and can be combined with a tour of the Morača monastery, local villages and surrounding mountain areas. In addition to Mrtvica, the areas of Maganika, Prekornica and Kamenik are also interesting for hiking, which offer more serious and less commercial mountain tours.
