Bjelasica – a green mountain for walking, katuns and lakes

Bjelasica is a mountain that has a softer, greener and tamer character compared to the sharp limestone massifs of Montenegro. Its paths lead through forests, meadows, pastures, katuns and landscapes that are especially beautiful during spring, summer and early autumn. It is a mountain that suits both recreational and more experienced hikers, as it offers different lengths and difficulty of tours.
The towns that are most associated with hiking on Bjelasica are Kolašin, Mojkovac, Berane, Bijelo Polje and Andrijevica. From these directions, you can organize tours to Biograd Lake, Zekova glava, Troglava, Pešića Lake, katuns and numerous panoramic trails. A special place is occupied by Biogradska gora, where hiking is combined with the forest, the lake and the feeling of untouched nature.
